I almost said something about Arabica in reply, but that would undermine my efforts to re-work the Paris Agreement to aim at reducing greenhouse gases by 28% and completely eliminating puns globally by 2025.
Add some rich antioxidant chocolate cocoa and you will definitely increase the somewhat murky cardio-benefit of straight coffee; further proving there truly is a God in Heaven who is in charge and who loves us.
Fun! And informative. Thank you for the steaming hot take. And - damn! Now I have to add a second (always unsweetened) cup of espresso every morning? A third? And how can decaf, that sad excuse for real coffee, possibly be good for me?
Something about coffee seems to make everyone think it's okay to pun??? But thank you and I agree about the decaf. I almost concluded the study had to be worthless simply because it is hard to take any "Science" seriously that promotes the consumption of such a dreadful beverage. Still above non-alcoholic beer on the hierarchy of terrible ideas, however.
Gee, IDK...I actually occasionally enjoy a cup of dark roasted organic water processed decaf with almond or oat milk. It is NOT dreadful at all and I can drink it without suffering GERD. Have not done the 2 cups daily but willing to give it a go.
It's an even year; so all coffee studies will conclude that coffee is good for you. Next year, the "experts" will go back to claiming that coffee causes genital warts or rectal cancer as well as contributes to global warming.
Copying and pasting tables of data without walking readers through an example of how to interpret the data does a disservice to the point you’re trying to make, and suggests you don’t understand the data you’re posting.
Coffee is the font of life, come Helvetica or high water.
Amen...(wonder if people understand the double entendre just laid out... brilliant)

Hidden meanings play into the over curious mind which helps in expanding the groundwork for critical thought...

How do any of these studies prove causality? All you know is that there's (maybe) a correlation. Could have nothing to do with coffee itself.

No mention of bioflavonoids? I moved over to cold coffee several years ago based on the finding that the bioflavonoids are even higher.
